I've been working on this for a while now. I found the idea on instructables called "Nomadic Bookshelf". The idea is to have a sturdy (i.e. not particle board) bookshelf that can be disassembled easily when you are on the move. I am missing a few pegs, but soon it will be complete.

So here's the second and final draft of a short story i submitted for my summer fiction writing class. It's been a long time since i've written much fiction, much less re-written it so let me know how it turned out. It's based in the universe of The Vault, which you might recognize from cal's illustrations, and I tried to make the story as stand-alone as possible, so no background information should be necessary.
